THE ESTATE
The story of Walnut Way
The land, architecture, and equestrian heritage give Walnut Way its character. Generations of care have shaped an estate that remains closely connected to its past while opening a new chapter in hospitality. Guests are invited to experience the property through private stays, celebrations, and gatherings.

OWNER & STEWARD
Teresa Barnes
Shelbyville real estate professional, Saddlebred owner and breeder
Teresa Barnes has a deep appreciation for Walnut Way Estates and the history held within its home and grounds. As a Saddlebred owner and breeder, she is passionate about preserving the property’s story and sharing the heritage of the Saddlebred horse with visitors.
Her commitment to restoration is rooted in a love for the Shelbyville community. Teresa serves as Vice Chair of the Operation Care board and as Secretary of the Humane Society of Shelbyville.

That vision is reflected in the estate’s thoughtful design, shaped by Kendra Brown of K2 Interiors. Kendra’s work brings fresh character to Walnut Way while honoring the spirit of the property and its Kentucky setting.
